Ruk jaana nahin...

A very inspiring song ...

Film : - Imtihaan-old
Singer: Kishore Kumar
Year: - 1974

Ruk jaanaa nahi tu kahin haar ke
Kaanton pe chal ke milenge saaye bahaar ke
O raahee, o raahee

Sooraj dekh ruk gaya hai, tere aage jhuk gaya hai
Jab kabhi aise koi mastana
Nikle hain apni dhun mein deewana
Shaam suhaani ban jaate hai, din intazaar ke

Saathi na kaarvaan hai, ye tera imtihaan hai
Yoon hi chala chal dil ke sahaare
Ke detee hain manzil tujh ko ishaare
Dekh kahin koi rokaa nahi le, tujh ko pukaar ke

Strange-r ?

Life is strange and it takes years to understand why things happen. We can hardly control circumstances around us. It is more like a jigsaw puzzle, the pieces don't fall in place for years.

An unfortunate incident makes us wonder, why me? will I get through this and when you do, you feel it wasn't so bad, it could have been worse, and are glad tobe out of it with less damage. But every incident makes us stronger and wiser than before.

We also meet strangers and along the way, few become part of our life. We don't realise it. They matter more than others. Why we met, was there a purpose, what made them so important, why we care about them - no answers.

I have gone through incidents which changed me to a different person all together.

Met strangers who changed my life, changed my perspective towards life positively and they mean a lot to me today. Is there any relation with them? No!
The understanding and feeling cannot be expressed in words nor the relation can be given any name.

Strange isn't it!

my first step towards........my destiny

After my last workshop I have been at home. Bought a house, planning the renovation  later a Vastu Puja
.
Things are getting hectic, as I'm just recovering from Viral fever and cold. The fever has drained my energy. But I hope everything turns as planned. Plan to do it in a very small way.

Personally I hate formal get-togethers, everyone is at their best behaviour and so artificial. I like being with few of my cousins and friends, where we are just ourselves.

Someday I will write about my house. They say, what you avoid most is what you have to live with. Something like this is my house........

Explain the concepts & they will find solutions for a better environment

Working for NGOs is a unique experience. Last 3 months I have been participating in a workshop for an NGO. It was on Waste Management. Reaching out to kids from different schools all over Mumbai was a wonderful experience.
Meeting students, hearing their ideas, thoughts, solutions made it interesting. Some very mischievous, naughty, few seriously thinking and few lost in their own world.

Most of the schools were different from each other, their way of disciplining kids, handling situations and participation of teachers reflected on how the Principal handled and controlled the school.
Schools where children felt free to express themselves with their teachers and yet showed discipline, manners displayed the children enjoyed school. Few schools where children only feared and followed rules were discipline is forced upon showed the incompetence of teachers and Principle to handle the responsibility.
Most of the schools the girls outsmarted boys, they were intelligent, disciplined and bold enough to talk and express themselves and ready to adapt the concept to make the world a better place to live which was interesting. Few schools the boys were interested in learning the ideas to change the situation, and understood that piling garbage is a hazard and separating into dry and wet waste is necessary.
Use of wet garbage as vermi compost and dry for recycling made it interesting. And the small token gift by sponsors was lucrative.
I had a great time, learnt a lot, met many students, teachers, principles. Remembered my school days.........

To make the world a better place it is easier to reach children, explain the concept and effects and they in turn can reach their parents to create an healthy environment..
eg. today every house has mobiles, computer games not because the parents want but because the children want it.
If the children understand the concept the next few generations will be able find solutions and make the world a better place with lesser and manageable problems.

friendship & love

One day,
 Friendship and Love met...
Love asked, "why do you exist ?"

Friendship smiled and said, "to put a smile where you leave tears...."

Love asked, "well if that's what you do, how come there are still many people crying?"
Friendship said, "It's my fault, instead of doing my job, I sometimes end up doing yours..."

Destiny finds its way

Last year ie. 2009 has been a very tough one. Things have been so tough, sudden, strenuous and unpredictable yet surprisingly the end results were good and rewarding. The ups and downs, the uncertainty got to me more than once. I was on the verge of giving up so many times but there was support from unexpected people whom I didn't know, guess that got me going.

Unexpected and unpredictable things takes place in my life. When there is no hope things come on platter and what looks very simple turns very complicated and impossible. Thats destiny. When you are destined for somethings life finds its way and nobody can stop it.

I am thankful to those who helped me and hurt as I can't depend on my own people. Thats life.
